Bully beatdown

For one, we don't live in the same world we did when you were a kid. Bullying intolerance is at an all time high so there ARE other options. Schools are being mandated to take action the moment they learn about this sort of thing and it's constantly being brought to light when they don't. Their jobs and livelihood are the line when they don't take action.

If a child is being bullied they need to be encouraged to tell an adult and then let the adults deal with it. If the parent of the bully doesn't take action then the law will. Parents need to be involved and support their kids in the RIGHT way, not by teaching them to go pound the pomegranate out of other people. Saying 'that's the way it's been done forever!' doesn't justify poor decision making.

But maybe you're right in that 99% won't get it, because you clearly don't.

And that's all I heard when I was going through school too.

"Bullies will not be tolerated!"

"Tell a teacher right away and the kids will be strictly punished!"


It's all lies and bullsh'it. The schools can't do anything but maybe put the kid in detention or send them to the counselor. The parents obviously don't do sh'it either, because the kids continue to do and get away with whatever they damn well please.

"Bully intolerance being at an all-time high" is just false propaganda to make parents feel better about having their kids go to school and to promote kids feeling safer as they wall down the hallways.

Hell, I know plenty of kids around where I live who bully the HELL out of kids and when I went to Ohio to visit my mother, my mom's boyfriend's daughter was a mean little bully. She was pure evil, but do you know what her dad did to her about it? He hugged her and treated her to ice cream. Holding my tongue was extremely hard to do, but I don't critique parents about how they treat their child, no matter how wrong it is.

NOTHING new is being done.
