You can have the cake and eat it too.Yeah, I'm just going to add onto what other people have said and say that just because they tout their game as free to play doesn't mean their quality of service does not matter. This is a profit-making company. They charge tons of money for virtual products that cost them almost nothing to design and put into the game. Even if you're not directly paying for the game you're playing, you are supporting them by playing the game. When you buy things from the cash shop with NX you bought from other players, you're generating demand for NX. Nexon profits. And even if you don't buy any NX, playing the game means you are likely to get friends playing and keep friends playing. Some of those friends are going to buy NX. Nexon profits off this as well. In short, unless you never talk to anyone in-game and never buy anything, Nexon is making money off you in some manner.
If the player base likes the service that they get, they are more likely to keep playing the game, and to play other games that Nexon might host in the future. There's really no reason not to maintain a good relationship with the community.
At the risk of talking about WoW too much in recent posts, the very first ticket I logged with Blizzard when starting the game was with regard to some of my trial limitations not being lifted right after I activated my account. I submitted my details in-game, and I immediately got a message saying that my ticket was queued and would be handled in 24 hours. The next day, not more than 10 minutes after the 24 hour timer ended, I got in-game assistance from a GM about my problem. They were very nice, and fully answered my question. THAT is service, and that's how you make customers want to keep playing your game. With Nexon, you're more likely to receive a response a month after you submit a ticket, with some boilerplate about how they are looking into the issue, which is just plain infuriating.

...really? That's a balance decision. I'm not going to say whether it was a good or bad decision, but they are free to make those if they deem it necessary. That's not an example of poor service.
