Two things: first, I chose Generation III, even though by your list I'm Generation IV, because while Zakum was a huge ordeal when I started playing July 20, 2006, it was reaching 3rd Jobs and the whole Tiger craziness that pervaded most mainstream thought.
Second, and most important comment: I really don't like that you have a two-year time span denoting Generation IV, because a lot happened in those two years. I myself went from 1-130 in that time span, and so I think it's important to break it up a little more. Why not look at breaking up generations in there based on external forces on the GMS world? Between May 2006 and February 2008, we saw the creation and rise of NX Game Cards, as well as game-changing additions of 2x EXP cards and Dark Scrolls. Those were massive inclusions that really shaped the future of the game and changed it from what it was before, and thus deserve a note there, too.
