Agreed. Threw everything I had at it after it had used Endure and was asleep. 1 HP + asleep = still not getting caught.

I'll fiddle around with it later, I suppose. I'm getting close to Litwick anyways, and I don't feel up to training Victini all the way up to ~30 to replace Pansear.

Decided to run around and catch a bunch of stuff. I still don't completely understand how White forest works, so I'mma be reading about that while looking for a bagon in there. Also, panpour and pansage are annoying to find. 30 minutes of searching and nothing.

Really? I found both of those guys on Route 3 while Audino training. I think I was there about 10-15 minutes by the time I caught both. s:
