Is anyone else having a hard time with the dews on regular Adventurers?

It's the exact same as Dawn Warrior's at max except it hits 6 monsters instead of 8. Of course it's going to be weaker when it's not maxed. You expect it to do 246% at level 1, 247% at level 2 etc?

But what about the range? It can't be as small as in the image.
