You are Ridley, a giant dragon. Honestly, you suck without Metal Coat. Just kidding, you’re okay. If you weren’t, Tabuu wouldn’t have recruited you. Anyway, you’re fast and you have fire in your belly: these are your two main weapons. At night, you may PM Infection with “SSBM Night X: Fireball USER”. This fireball is weird. There are three possible outcomes with each Fireball: Failure, Success and Sleeper Success. If it fails, the fireball will do nothing. If you achieve a Success, the target will be unable to perform their night action. Upon a Sleeper Success, the target will die. Awesome, huh? Also, if Porky has died and there are no other killers, you may also PM Infection with “SSBM Night X: Rush USER” to rush the target and kill them. However, you can only send one night action in per night. In addition, each day you may Vote in the gameplay thread, along with the rest of the players, to lynch a certain person. The target that gets the most votes to lynch will be killed. You win if the Subspace Emissary outnumbers the Challengers.

 Kurtle: Shiek

Dear Kurtle:

You are Shiek, Zelda’s alter-ego. The Challengers love you for your ninja-ness. Link, elf in green, especially loves you because you turn him on. Right now, you’re too busy making love to Link to even fight. Yes, you do it EVERY DAY, EVERY NIGHT. If Link dies, though, you’ll want to take revenge. If Link dies, you may take out your rage one night by sending Infection a PM containing “SSMB Night X: Needle Storm USER”. By doing this, you will throw a bunch of deadly needles at your target in an act of sweet revenge for your lover. Your target will die. Be careful who you attack, though, because you only have one bundle of needles and you’ll want to throw them all at once. In addition, each day you may Vote in the gameplay thread, along with the rest of the players, to lynch a certain person. The target that gets the most votes to lynch will be killed. You win if all threats to the Challengers are eliminated.

 Derosis: Lucario

Dear Derosis:

You are Lucario, and the spike on your chest is a testament to how BADASS you are. As it is, though, you don’t need that spike. Because you’re super-fast, no one will notice when you attack them anyway. This will be essential to the Challengers' plight. During the day, you may PM Infection with “SSBM Day X: ExtremeSpeed USER”. By doing this you will punch them at well, extreme speed. Your target will be stunned and their vote nullified for the day. In addition, each day you may Vote in the gameplay thread, along with the rest of the players, to lynch a certain person. The target that gets the most votes to lynch will be killed. You win if all threats to the Challengers are eliminated.

 Corn: Pokemon Trainer

Dear Corn:

You are Brendan, the Pokémon Trainer. Because you are only ten years old (even though you appear older, and Lucas is most likely younger than you), you are not capable of fighting along with the rest of the Challengers. However, you do have your trusty Charizard But lo and behold, he has no PP! And there are no Pokémon Centers around! And you don’t have any Ethers or anything! I guess you can’t fight with him either. Oh well. At night, though, you may PM Infection with “SSMB Night X: Potion USER”. By doing this you will give that user a Focus Sash and a Full Restore. This will negate all night actions used on them and will block one kill action. However, the items are only effective for one night; after the day breaks, your target will discard any healing items that they have. You cannot give items to dead players. Be careful about who you give them to! In addition, each day you may Vote in the gameplay thread, along with the rest of the players, to lynch a certain person. The target that gets the most votes to lynch will be killed. You win if all threats to the Challengers are eliminated.

 ChaoticCJ: Petey Piranha

Dear ChaoticCJ:

You are Petey Piranha, a mutated plant who loves eating Marios. Tabuu has corrupted you (what was there that needed corrupting?) into fighting for the Subspace. You are the group’s primary killer, a role that you must take with pride. At night, you may PM Infection with “SSBM Night X: Cage Smash USER”. By using two cages that you happen to have with you, you will bash your target to death. In addition, each day you may Vote in the gameplay thread, along with the rest of the players, to lynch a certain person. The target that gets the most votes to lynch will be killed. You win if the Subspace Emissary outnumbers the Challengers.

 xBTAx: Yoshi

Dear xBTAx:

You are Yoshi, the lovable green dinosaur. Although it is widely accepted that you are male, you are capable of laying eggs by swallowing them. Maybe you’re female after all, and Birdo is actually the alpha male but anyway. This ability will be of great use as you aid the Challengers. At night, you may PM Infection with “SSMB Night X: Swallow USER”. You will swallow your target, and using your very sensitive taste buds, you will be able to learn of their abilities and affiliation in the form of their Role PM. Of course, you will also lay them in an egg. They’ll hatch in the morning, though. In addition, each day you may Vote in the gameplay thread, along with the rest of the players, to lynch a certain person. The target that gets the most votes to lynch will be killed. You win if all threats to the Challengers are eliminated.

 ShiKage: Porky

Dear ShiKage:

You are Porky, a little boy in a big robot. Robot spider, I may add. You love crushing things. Tabuu has recruited you into the Subspace Emissary for the express purpose of crushing things. At night, you may PM Infection with “SSBM Night X: Bot USER”. By doing this you will send a Porky-Bot to your target, which will blow up and destroy any items your target has. Also, if Petey Piranha has died and there are no other killers, you may also PM Infection with “SSBM Night X: Charge USER”. You will charge at the target and kill them. However, you can only send one night action in per night so choose carefully. In addition, each day you may Vote in the gameplay thread, along with the rest of the players, to lynch a certain person. You are Mario, the moustachioed frontrunner for the Nintendo franchise. Long days and nights of hoarding your friends for coins have left you tired and weary; as such, the most you can do is help the Challengers decide who to investigate every day.  Mira: Diddy Kong

Dear Mira:

You are Diddy Kong, the monkey with the Nintendo cap. You’re a bit out of sorts after Nana’s murder, but you should be fine given you don’t try to fight anyone. You still do want to help the Challengers’ cause, though, and thus they have invited you into the voting group (even though you’re more or less a kid). Dear NoJobNoRules:

You are Tabuu, ruler of all that is Subspace. You’re a figure of blue energy. That’s about it. But you’re incredibly powerful, and your might has allowed you to lead the Subspace Emissary in the fight to crush the Challengers. At night, you may PM Infection with “SSBM Night X: Shadow Bug USER”. This act will send Shadow Bugs to infiltrate your target. You won’t be able to control them, but if they die that night they will appear to be part of your team, effectively tricking the Challengers. In addition, if Galleom has died and there are no other killers, you may PM Infection at night with “SSBM Night X: Golden Bracket USER”. You will transform into a pair of brackets composed of pure energy, kind of like { }. Then you will CRUSH THE ENEMY TO DEATH. Truly, you are credit to team. However, be careful as you may only send in one night action per night. In addition, each day you may Vote in the gameplay thread, along with the rest of the players, to lynch a certain person. However, you can only use the same box once, and you will randomly get boxes throughout the game. Pray you get a lot. The Challengers have called you their leader for as long as they can remember, and your leadership will prove crucial in the fight against the Subspace. You are Link, elf in green. Fortunately you are of age and not an 11-year-old Toon Link. You can actually fight! Woo! Oh wait, you can’t. Because you’re too busy making love to Shiek. SPOILER: She won’t get pregnant. Ever. If Shiek dies, though, you’ll want to take revenge. If Shiek dies, you may take out your rage one night by sending Infection a PM containing “SSMB Night X: Sword Down USER”. By doing this, you will jump over your target and plant your Master Sword on their head, effectively killing them. You’ll want to keep the sword dislodged in there, though, so you only have one use if Shiek dies. In addition, each day you may Vote in the gameplay thread, along with the rest of the players, to lynch a certain person. The target that gets the most votes to lynch will be killed. At night, you may PM Infection with “SSMB Night X: Judge USER”. By doing this, you will judge that user using your RNG skills, with a 1/9 chance of killing them for great justice. You are Galleom, a deadly (?) robot thing. Monster. Cyborg. Tank. Anyway, Tabuu has recruited you to fight the Challengers. Your hugeness and mechanical might are of great usefulness to you in this endeavour. At night, you may PM Infection with “SSBM Night X: Shockwave USER”. In doing this you will send a shockwave to your target, stunning them. They will be unable to talk or act the next day as well as the next night. As well, if Ridley has died and there are no other killers, you may PM Infection at night with “SSBM Night X: Missile USER”. This should be self-explanatory: you fire a bunch of missiles at your target and kill them. You can only send in one night action per night, though, so be careful. You win if the Subspace Emissary outnumbers the Challengers.

You are Popo, lone Ice Climber. Sorry your love died, by the way. It was really tragic. Traditionally, you two fought together and were very effective; but without her, you cannot fight. However, you don’t have your Power Suit. Because of that, you cannot fight along with the men. If you did, though, they would probably be trying to get into your pants suit anyway so it’d be more of a bother. However, each day you may Vote in the gameplay thread, along with the rest of the players, to lynch a certain person. The target that gets the most votes to lynch will be killed. You win if all threats to the Challengers are eliminated.

Just so you know, you aren't allowed to copy and paste any part of this PM in the gameplay thread, discussion thread or IRC. However, you can tell people that you've claimed a different role, or even the role you have now. This is called roleclaiming.

You are Captain Falcon. Your car is out of gas, and because of that you cannot help the Challengers by running over your enemies. However, your punches have become near-deadly thanks to the steroids you repeatedly inject yourself with. At night, you may PM Infection with “SSMB Night X: Falcon Punch USER”. Your target will be blown away by a speedy punch. Because you aren’t fisting to kill, however (haha), you will only hurt their mouth. As such, they will be unable to talk for the next day and night. If they do, they will die. Aim your punches carefully. In addition, each day you may Vote in the gameplay thread, along with the rest of the players, to lynch a certain person. The target that gets the most votes to lynch will be killed. You win if all threats to the Challengers are eliminated.

 Frequently Asked (or Anticipated) Questions

Q: How the pineapple did mafia get hit by RNG kill? (almost) EVERY SINGLE TIME?
A: The way I dealt with RNG kills was, I queued Random.ORG to generate a number from 1-20; that number would correspond to a name on the playerlist. Now, here's the crucial part: when it hits a player that is already dead or dying, I run the generator again. In some cases I had to do it five or six times. The mafia weren't all one-shot hits; it was more of a repeated inconvenience on their part.

Q: Shidoshi's Snake? wut?
A: Shidoshi was corrupted by NoJobNoRules as Tabuu. When he died, he was shown to be Mafia with a kill role, although really he was a townie actiondodger.
