I was in a bowman only guild for quite a while here in Windia; one of I believe 3 well known ones across the worlds that held firm in its pride; but it fell apart over drama over time. The name still exists, but it isn't even a shell of what it once was.
Afraid to tell ya this, but pride is pretty much dead in more ways than one. I personally think pride in general died when common equipment replaced class equipment as the "standard". And the pride of the bowmen I knew died when 4th job was released. We had been the outcasts; always denied from PQs because of our lack of party skills, but we managed to stick together. We became wall pinners and "SE Mules". Hell, preference towards anything but the top tier now and days is considered stupid rather than a show of respect towards what you like. I wouldn't have said this before, but I actually feel sorry for bishops.
Part of the reason I'm having trouble getting back to my main even though training at his level has become much easier since BB. Failed 3 of those 20 books so far, and I don't see how the thing should be 60 Mil+ a pop.
