I mean, as stupid as the Elewand dilemma is, at least Nexon can blame it on their utter innability to forsee issues or make rationale decisions.
(Though, frankly, they should just brind the damn things back the way they were.)
JUST CORRECT THE DAMN REFERENCES!
Shouldn't have been in a live release to begin with.
If Fiel can run a script to root out the changes between patches and realize that Body Boost is going to be broken, Nexon's QA team should have done the same thing.
For reference, my Battlemage is not affected by the glitch and I don't have an Archmage, making my rage comes purely from the fact that a company that makes so much damn money could be so damn stupid.

Except it was definitely more than twice that they allowed what is equivalent to the same thing. In addition to the negative mesos/damage, I'm pretty sure there have been several instances of negative items (exchange quest exploits).
But apparently Nexon doesn't believe in preventative measures. Instead of brainstorming, "Hey, guys, where else could these silly-willy hackers use negative numbers to exploit our code?" they decide to just wait for someone else to think of it, create a packet, word of the hack to spread, devastation to wreck, and then maybe they'll bother looking into it.
I mean, if they had any sort of sense, the entire Christmas tree event bonanza would have never happened because hackers have owned those sorts of events before.
Seriously. Faces need to be stomped until they learn their lesson.
