i made a WH cause i wanted to try it out, i ended taking him up to like 90 with full intention of getting to 4th job and being mr. cool ice wildman shootin that wildness and exploding those gears.
i was just training one day, down in the mines, when it hit me like a wall.
this class is nothing without the jaguar. it's completely dependent on it. where's the fun... or the pride, or the feeling of autonomy for your char, when you know if he steps off this "jaguar" that comes out of nowhere, has no story? there's one poor, poor obligatory quest you do to get him, and that's it. there is literally no lore, no connection whatsoever to this thing. it doesn't eat, you don't train it, it doesn't level, but it owns you completely, and for some reason wild hunters ride them cause...? you're the weakest of all archers w/o it. and i quit right there, and plan on making a marksman. ever since i started playing maple, i loved crossbowmen. i just loved bandits and stealing stuff more, and my friend made a bowman, so i wanted it to be fun for us.
anyway hopefully soon, i can proudly unite with yew archers. y'all kookoo bananas n shhhh
