They match 401k, health/dental/vision, if you ride the bus THEY PAY FOR YOU TO GO TO WORK.
Hell, they even attempt to ensure their employees don't catch the flu.
To be quite honest, I'm not entirely sure what you were expecting.
None of which is worth a damn if they're only paying 10$ an hour at California's cost of living
