I may not have a ranger on any maplestory account but I do name my summons =P.
Priests Dragon: Draco/Hikari (Got two priests both with dragons in GMS and in another server respectively)
Gunslingers Gaviota: Bombs Away (That's in JMS)
Personally I don't see anything wrong with naming summons.
