What world languages do you speak/take?
#19
I speak English. I also speak a bit of Spanish, French, Tagalog, and right now I'm studying American Sign Language. Shine

I grew up speaking Tagalog (my grandparents don't speak much English so we were immersed in Tagalog whenever we went to our grandparents' house.) However, of the languages I know, it is the one I am least comfortable speaking because I've gotten out of the habit of speaking it; if my grandma or one of my aunties asks me a question in Tagalog, I'll usually respond in English or in grammatically broken Tagalog. I'm horrible.

Took French from K-8 (it was a private, Catholic, French school) but sadly I didn't practice it at all for 10 years after I graduated from there, so I'm very rusty at it. I'm currently taking a French class as well to brush up on it, and it's all coming back to me very quickly.

Of the foreign languages I know, Spanish is probably the one I'm most comfortable speaking, even though I only took it for 3 years. It is very structurally similar to French, which made it very easy to pick up, and it also has a lot of the same vocabulary as Tagalog. (Which makes sense, since the Spanish conquered our land, raped our women, and bastardized our language. But I digress.)

Sign language is awesome, because our teacher is awesome. I'm totally noob though. Eek
