Clearly if someone is so pro-tespia and clearly shows a willingness to do REAL WORK they should have the authority to make that kind of specialized pick. And it shouldn't apply to just him. I'll admit i was f'ucking pissed i didn't get in for the big bang tespia (and i would have done work because i really did not have THAT much to do at the time) and i think i would have been a damn fine candidate because i tested big bang in KOREA, but obviously i need to play the game that provides no real incentive for me to log on anymore in order for Nexon to know that i am interested in tespia.
Their selection process was shoddily put together, childishly implemented, and the fact is that it could have been done WAY better simply by creating better criteria or even by doing it the way KMS does it. Form oriented entry. You yourself agree big bang was a flop. The selection process was a direct result of that.
It is not hard at all to include a case for unopened invitations, nor is it hard to include characters who are inactive recently (at the time) but were active shortly before that time. Tespia is a big deal and once forums know invitations were sent, it is not hard to imagine inactives (waiting for big bang or otherwise) checking their account only to be disappointed they were excluded because they don't care enough about playing pre-BB to test post-BB.
Speaking of childish... your whole rant is misdirected anger because you weren't picked.
The issue with tespia isn't who did/didn't get in; it's that Nexon didn't run the test server properly. They neglected to address a ton of reported issues, they didn't change anything within the tespia server during the testing period. Putting you, me, Isaac, Combattente, Fiel, Eos and even Jesus himself wouldn't change jack as long as Nexon keeps running the server the way they did during the big bang testing period.
Their participation credentials are fine as they are.
