Was combatentte even picked? I don't remember. Nexon "reads the forums". Clearly if someone is so pro-tespia and clearly shows a willingness to do REAL WORK they should have the authority to make that kind of specialized pick. And it shouldn't apply to just him. I'll admit i was f'ucking pissed i didn't get in for the big bang tespia (and i would have done work because i really did not have THAT much to do at the time) and i think i would have been a damn fine candidate because i tested big bang in KOREA, but obviously i need to play the game that provides no real incentive for me to log on anymore in order for Nexon to know that i am interested in tespia.
Their selection process was shoddily put together, childishly implemented, and the fact is that it could have been done WAY better simply by creating better criteria or even by doing it the way KMS does it. Form oriented entry. You yourself agree big bang was a flop. The selection process was a direct result of that.
It is not hard at all to include a case for unopened invitations, nor is it hard to include characters who are inactive recently (at the time) but were active shortly before that time. Tespia is a big deal and once forums know invitations were sent, it is not hard to imagine inactives (waiting for big bang or otherwise) checking their account only to be disappointed they were excluded because they don't care enough about playing pre-BB to test post-BB.

If they decided to include people that showed inactivity for the past two weeks, they may end up getting fewer testers than they need.
Thus, the specific criteria that they chose at least makes sense. They'll only choose people who show that they WILL actually be around for testing. They wouldn't want to select candidates and HOPE that they were just waiting for big bang and end up with people who don't show up at all.
