Well, I think training post-BB is really just the same as before BB. For sure, the lower levels are much faster, no doubt there. Just that I think it is debatable for higher level ranges if it is harder, because I find that comparing my %/hour gain to my buddies around the same level before BB (1x for both cases), there is really not that much difference.
The reason I say it is debatable on why it is harder is because now at the higher levels, there is no longer the option of going 2x/4x. That's simply the reason, because otherwise characters have skills that do more damage, but monster's (m)def is take into consideration and their HP about 3x as much really just does not change anything in regards to how fast one may level.
So really, depending on how you view all this, BB can simply just be another patch that favours people below level 150- and a screws it all for people 150+, but that's only for the 2x users anyway. Well, not to mention that oMS did get the EXPlosion exp curve removed, so that's possibly another reason why 150+ after BB may feel harder.
Still, besides the 1-100 or so levels being easier, I like pre-BB training better. Why? Because I find that with that notorious accuracy system (that I absolutely despise!), people pretty much have to be around the same level to train. Just one level off and 5% miss rate could just ruin training, and due to that it almost seems like people will never really make friends with people higher or lower levelled since the accuracy system ruins everything. I remember being much lower levelled than a buddy, but we trained at Skeles anyway because it was beneficial to both of us and we got to know each other as we trained. That would be impossible today unless the somebody higher levelled would purposely train slower just to make a friend (in which case, it might be boring to them).
And really, since the accuracy system is so infamous for screwing up all training, I lost all of my training buddies since BB as they cannot hit the monsters we used to train at. I find the friend-factor in training completely destroyed by this notorious accuracy system, and in a sense, makes training harder.
