First off: Work out, if you don't it won't work squat, really.

It's better for you to get some 80% above purity protein to work your muscles first and then go for weight. Or better, what's your height and weight? Because if you're too skinny, proteins will only help with the muscle regeneration, but you'll feel tired easily, because you'll be lacking energy in form of sugars or carbs.

I can be helpful if you give me more info.
