My favorite thing about maple has always been the grind. Not so much the mind numbing hours poured into maple, as challenging myself to finding the IDEAL leveling situation to reach the highest level in the fastest amount of time. I think big bang more or less removed this aspect of maple. As a result, I think its quite a bit harder to get from 1-140+ after big bang.

Who agrees with me on this and misses the old methods? Pre-BB, levels in under 15 mins happened pretty frequently even in the 11x range in the right situations (this is without leeching of course). This is FAR from the situation now.

Big Bang made things fair and less complex, not easier. Anyone who knew how to play right could destroy the leveling times now.
