My friends joked about an imaginary Junior College (Singapore) that requires 62 points in your L1R5 (or better) to enter. L1R5 means 1 primary language & 5 relevant subjects. You can get between F9 (worst) to A1 (best) for each subject.
6 * 9 = 54. So how did 62 come into the picture?
This is a semi-rant/semi-why-do-I-do-this thread.
Maybe it's a joke about how anyone can enter, even incredibly stupid people? If it's not that, then I guess they just picked a random number figuring most people wouldn't care about it or notice if it was wrong so long as it helped tell the joke.
