Every so often, Cassandra has an event to turn 10%s into 15%s. As a last resort (it saves on pam's songs or white scrolls) you could do it in roughly 13.5 15%s (rather than 20 10%s). Note that 15%s are not tradeable, so you need to get them on the same character as the Lunchbox.

Really a question of which is cheaper:
1 100% GM (best)
2 50% for 1h sword + 1 Pam's Song <-- this is most likely IMO
6.6 15% + 5.6 Pam's Song
10 10% + 9 Pam's Song


If you assume 20k Pam's + 15m/1k NX, price points are:
1 100% GM
2 50% 1h sword + 300m
6.6 15% + 1680m
10 10% + 2700m
If you assume 10% swords are essentially worthless, then you have price points where 100/50%s are worth buying:
a) You can only get 10%s. -> 2700m 100%, 1200m 50%
b) You can wait for 15%s. -> 1680m 100%, 690m 50%
ie. Do not buy them for more than these prices.



Personally I was aware of this advantage of 15%s over 10%s while ago, so I converted a large number of 10% 2h BW to 15% 2h BW. I don't remember what season Cassandra offers the deal in, it's come up on the weekly rainbow events afaik. With cheap 2h 50%s it's not worthwhile, but 1h 50%s are not so cheap.
