Yeah, range is still the same.

As for safety, the cooldown only applies to safety, not satelites

For example. If I use safety, it starts the cooldown. So if i turn it off and turn it back on, it'll say "You may not use the skill yet"

If I turn it on, and get hit for say 5k, safety will trigger and disappear (and kill my satelites). If I try to use it, it will give me the same message as I still have the cooldown.

However, this does not effect the skill satelite, only the skill safety. I can constantly turn on/off satelite no matter what. So when safety activates, the satelites disappear and absorb the damage. Safety will be turned off.

Note: The cooldown for safety activates when you turn it on, not when you turn it off/it gets triggered

So with safety on and triggered, I can activate my satelites right away (which is annoying so I never have it on because I don't want to waste time recasting satelites if i get hit for high damage).

Note 2: I rechecked damage just now with 31k range and having safety actually on (all other times it was off). Damage was still roughly the same, hit about 4k lower. It says it's a permanent increase so I was pretty sure the skill didn't actually have to be on to work, much like the "guard" abilitiy with the power guard skill in 2nd job.
