While we do have Europeans and Australians on at times Americans generally are not, there are not that many of them. At 3AM PST you can easily find a free Zakum channel in Kradia... and can hardly find anyone in Spiegelmann's Office.
Having no time limit on PvP here would actually give these foreigners an advantage, since they won't have to be waking up in the middle of the night or skipping school in order to "abuse" PvP with their mults or buddies.
However, implementing this time restriction would be quite unfair to them, as they'll have to be on at strange (to them) times of day if they are to earn PvP rewards.
Personally, I just wish Nexon didn't make PvP such an essential part of the game.
I know many players have been begging for some kind of PvP in maple, for years. But many others (myself included) don't like PvP and were happy Maple didn't have it (outside of ks'ing, which is one of the reasons I chose a less populated server).
It's nice that Nexon added PvP for those that enjoy it, but they shouldn't be forcing those that don't enjoy it to participate if they want the best gear. Make it give normal rewards of exp and miscellaneous items, like GPQ. Or even nothing more than a personal score, like Omok. Those that enjoy it would still do it, just for the thrill, and the break from the grind.
