Tips:
Do ALL quests. They are the opposite of MS's quests. Easy (most of the time), Good Exp, Good Money, Easy Pots.
There is no invincibility like MS. You get hit, you can get hit immediately afterward. Therefore, mobs are much more dangerous than in MS.
For most of the Newbie area, up until the Temple of Pluton, monsters will not attack you if you're just standing around. Touch damage doesn't exist in this game. Resting (sitting) is a good alternative to potting.
Pots have both cooldown and the "Earthbound" recovery system. I.E. It does not all fill up at once, but will come in spurts when you use a pot. It is more important to think than just charge in and try to attack a huge mob.
Partying is good. Good EXP, easier killing, ability to tank for ranged characters so they don't get hurt. Etc.
Your normal attacks remain your friend for a while, at least when you're not powerleveling.
Don't really worry about 2nd job. That's not till level 80, and that'll still be a while away.

Dusk Wrote:This game looks pretty cool. Downloading it right now.
Any tips for a newbie? The website is typical of Asian MMO's, I can hardly understand how the classes work. How do you become a gunslinger? Guns aren't even listed as a weapon. Or is that like second job? What are the available second jobs?
