Having the IRC as a valid place for conversations is a bad idea, we can't go there to see old conversations and you have to be there to participate in the talks (and with people on different time zones it really doesn't work right). I'd be sad to lose a lot of what's going on because it was on IRC.

I am willing to paste complete logs of IRC chat as long as I am online. If you're willing to put in the effort, you can read all of it.

If this proves to be too much, I CAN remove it.
