I joined Southperry in 2008. None of the changes that happened to me, though, have happened because of Southperry.
Nevertheless, I can definitely say that I've changed. A lot. I used to be a huge jackass because of outside issues that have nothing at all to do with the people I targeted my flames at. I'm not going to go ahead and say that all that's fixed now - I still have issues with BS - but I'm working at them. From what I've heard of myself, it's definitely less.. evident.
That, and whenever I apologize for being a jerk my friends always call me the big teddybear of the group. It's kind of unnerving, actually.
Speaking of friends, I'm a severe introvert. Well, not SEVERE, but an introvert nonetheless. And since I joined Southperry I've met some of the most amazing people in my life. The circle of friends that I have now is just the best group of people that I have ever encountered in my life. We've gone through thick and thin together, and I sincerely believe we can stay that way. I've come to trust some of them like brothers and sisters, and moreso than my parents or other people I've been "close" with. I've told one particular friend that he's the kind of person I hope to model myself after, because the friendship is just... there.
As far as maturity goes, I believe I've attained some. Like I said, I'm not much of an ass now, and I'd go so far as to say that I'm a bit more mature for my age. But that's that.
