How have you changed since you joined Southperry?

Since I joined here in 2008, I can honestly say that I've probably become a more mature and less irritating person. I used to do that for attention or whatever I thought -- but now that I realize that you get more out of being a good person than you do out of being a d'ick.

I'm more patient with people who I think have idiotic ideas and I'm more respectful to people who I think are logical and sound of mind.
I'm less hesitant to drop my thoughts in favor of another person's ideas and I'm less stubborn when it comes to debating them.

From 2008 to 2010 I was home-schooled, I didn't really socialize much, and I was probably going through whatever typical teenage angst those people go through. I whined a lot about how I had no friends even though I made no effort to do so. I acted like I was miserable, even though it might not have been that bad.

Now it's 2011, I'm 18, in college. I'm studying the things that I've always wanted to study, I have a great group of friends online and in real life, there's a significant female in my life (though I have yet to make a step forward about that) and I think I'm on the right track now.
