Southperry Reputation System

So you admit that this type of reputation system is worthless and should not be looked at seriously? What is the purpose of a reputation system if it isn't taken seriously? If someone leave me some completely anonymous feedback that says "You're a jerk", then why should I take it seriously, or make an effort to be less of one? If someone left negative feedback saying "You're a f(ucking douchebag and here's ten reasons why", then that's a little bit different.

I don't understand what you are trying to say, or which group of people you are targeting your posts toward. You are trying to compare this system to the real world where you don't always hear what you would like to hear, but it is nothing like that, because in the real world when someone calls you a douchebag they are usually serious.

If someone give you feedback about why your a jerk would you listen to it? Wouldn't it still be the same outcome?

Person A:your a jerk cause your always trolling
Person:What is he talking about i never do that. I'm not taking your reason serious

Think about how you have acted on southperry. Have you been a jerk? Have you been annoying? Thats how i view the rep system. You ask yourself those questions and reflect. If an answer is untrue then dont take that one serious simple as that. You dont have to stomp your feet yelling "ITS ALL WRONG! WRONG WRONG!"

In the real world when someone says your an alcoholic dont people deny it? "I dont drink that much" People will always deny everything that is said about them bottom line. If you did something in the real world that is considered being a douche then you deserve to be called one. If you didnt do anything would you take that person comment serious? It all leads up to the events that are taking place.

With the rep system is based on how you have acted on southperry. The ones that are evaluating you are not complete strangers. They only know the information that you have presented while posting. The questions are not even breaking the huge personal boundaries. Their questions that relates to everyone. So i dont see why people are in such a fuss.
