See, like I said on the iRC last night, I dislike this system in nearly every way. It does nothing but provide a catalyst for drama.
>Person is given enough negative votes that they get irked.
>makes a thread/blog complaining about it.
>others respond "deal with it it's how others perceive you."
>they get mad and ragequit.
Also what's not to say that this problem is limited to that scenario?
>Person A (old to the forums) starts to befriends Person B (new to the forums)

>A tells B they can't be friends.
A person can be ostracized for the opinions of others, which is entirely unfair and does nothing to give people the ability to change. "But votes aren't permanent and can be changed at any time" you may say, which I concede to that being true; what's to say that they will be changed though, what's saying the preconceptions of some are immutable and set-in-stone?
I don't like this. Also the "view your conversation with them" link overlaps the tabs, so it's an eyesore/annoyance as well as the above.
