The curved world looks like it might mess up my already screwed sense of balance, lol.

It's not bad, actually. Thus far, there hasn't been any extreme world curving to make it upsetting. I mean, it's still kind of weird to move around the map and see things curve out of the screen, but it's not too bad that it screws up your focus.
