Samus being alone having no worry about anyone or anything getting in her way. No Samus has to worry about these character who are usually or just getting in the way 99% of the time? Great. Having these guys put a plot hole. Why didn't Samus just ask Adam "Are any of these guys nearby? No? Dropping a Super Bomb." Even if it was so dangerous that it'd reach that far through the ship, I doubt the Super Missle would be a problem. Is it really that much a problem, then I doubt the Grappler Beam could honestly be THAT much of a danger.
What? Does the Varia Suit emit some sort of amazing radiation? Hell, if that was said I might, and that is a big might, have said that was a little OK but no. Nothing like that was ever said.
Again, we could go all night and day with this. lol
They've done the isolation thing in every game except Metroid Fusion and the Metroid Prime trilogy. In both instances, you had either a computer telling you what to do or you had the presence of the Galactic Federation there. Samus went there alone... She ran into the Federation soldiers. There wasn't anything she could really do about it except cooperate, which is what she did. In doing so, she had to follow orders, whether she liked them or not. That's just what you do with military -- you follow orders with no questions asked.

Really... you're on and happen to be an active member of a site more or less tailored for people to rant about a specific games implementation.
Just because something is done poorly and is released does not mean we can't complain about the VERY poor job done on the game.
When it's the only thing being argued about, it's kind of pointless. I could be thinking of thousands upon millions of ways the Legend of Zelda could be different, but I don't complain about the game the way it is because it could be another way.
