It is what it is and we are discussing about WHY it's bad. Don't try and sugar coat something that isn't good. The authorization thing is a bad plot device and was poorly executed. Metroid is an old series. If you were to suddenly flip the character we've been picturing throughout these two decades, people aren't going to accept that.
