Because Samus gets a personality its better? The no personality Samus is better than this one. She has become a dependent wuss. Can't do anything without Adam. And breaks down in front of Ridley? Seriously?!
The Voice acting was lame. It really is and the dialog is just silly sometimes.
And having Adam "authorize" what items she can use is about the worst thing in the entire game.
"Hi I'm Samus. Even though I'm in an entire sector which is essentially a gigantic volcano which has intense heat killing me I'm not going to use my common sense and activate the Varia Suit. No, I'm going to wait until Adam tells me to do it which is when I'm damn near done with the sector."
There is a reason they made her lose her abilities and upgrades at the beginning of every game or the end of the previous games.
And they killed the feeling of isolationism which is pretty much prevalent in all the Metroid Games. Samus alone against the world.
