It's mediocre as I said before. The gameplay, the most important part of the game, saved it.
The Story, characterization, and dialog was amazingly poor which hurt the game greatly.
Are you kidding me? There's absolutely nothing wrong with this game. The only thing I see people complaining about is that they actually gave Samus a personality, when people apparently want her to be a voiceless robot of a Human. The voices were good... I don't know what you're talking about. And the story? What is this supposed to be? The single best story ever made? Yeah... I think you want to go read some Shakespeare or other great writers' work. It's a freaking video game. You can't expect the best work in the world.
There's absolutely nothing wrong with this game. It's extremely well made and I'll definitely be playing this again. I'm in love. It's like a perfect mixture of the original Metroid type game play with Metroid Prime elements.

That or just not have much of a story at all, be like a kickass Metroid NES reboot.
I didn't say that toward you. The Metroid Prime trilogy was in its own league. It wasn't like the rest of the series at all, but it was amazing.
