Isn't it quite common for students in the US to move out once they enter in the university? In Brazil people normally stay with their parents while in the university.
Both options have advantages and disadvantages:
Moving out:
+Do your own schedule
+Have friends at home when you want
+Possibility of cool roomate
+Sex, fap, etc (privacy and no restrictions)
+Be very close to your classmates since they are your new family
+Learn to live by yourself (independence!)
-Laundry and house tasks
-No home-made mommy food when you get home
-Can get lonely (depends if you have a roommate)
-Roommate can be annoying
-More expenses
-Junk food or expensive food (unless you learn how to cook)
Not going to list +/- of staying home since they can be deduced from the above.
