We've only known her for two chapters :< As much as I like her, we're going to have to wait a little while. I think it's definitely likely she'll be seeing the surface by the end of the arc, but whether or not Shirahoshi will join the crew or not is a difficult question. It sounds likely for her dream to be to explore the surface world, but as of now, Luffy doesn't have the same interest in her as he would a potential crew member. He pities her situation, and wants to help her fulfill her wish to explore outside of the tower and to possibly see the surface world; but the interest isn't quite the same as it is with a potential crew member. We'll just have to wait and see where this goes.
Perona might be a nice addition to the crew, on another note. She seems like she'd have good chemistry with the crew and she'd add some nice variation to the dynamics of the group. The only problem about her is just that I don't see her as much of a fighter, and wouldn't have interesting enough fights.
Hachi could be an interesting addition as well since he's really been a cool guy since he's been reintroduced in Sabaody; but 3 swordsmen might be overboard.
Also, here's my thoughts on the arc so far.
