Not at all. The MMR vaccine has NEVER, EVER contained thiomersal. The MMR vaccine contains a live virus, so the thiomersal would kill it off (that's what the thiomersal is there for, remember - killing off live bugs in the vaccine), rendering the vaccine useless. Besides, the reason the MMR vaccine was accused in the first place was because Wakefield claimed that this live virus was making bowel disease in autistic children. Turns out he falsified his results, and the children either weren't autistic, or didn't have bowel disease, and he basically experimented on children without the consent of neither the parents nor the ethics committee.
