Post-Dragon Ball Z lore -- What happened after Dragon Ball Z

I hope they make an actual anime adaptation of this. GT was complete sh`it. I finished it anyways, just to say that "It's sh`it", since I can't say something sucks without knowing about it. GT really made no sense at all. I'm not surprised about Goku's or Vegeta's fate at all, it seems like it's a lot more typical of Goku to do, instead of .. ya know.. riding on SHENRON and magically disappearing.
