Thanks!

FrozNlite Wrote:Beyond that, best of luck, obviously, to everyone else and everywhere else they applied. To expand upon what Will said in his first post, it was my dream to go to the Ivy League for ~5 years or so before my Senior year, and not only was I rejected from the three schools within it that I applied to (Cornell ED, Columbia, Princeton), but I was also rejected across the board elsewhere (George Washington University in D.C., Emory in Atlanta, and waitlisted at Northwestern). Then UW-Madison came rolling around, and fast forward 1.5 years to today, and I couldn't have been happier. Like one of my favorite high school teachers always told me when I cried about a rejection, "The college that accepts you and that you ultimately end up deciding to attend will be the one you were meant to go to."
And hey, even if that's not true in some cases, at least you can transfer right away. College is a lot more fluid than most high school students make it out to be.
@ Bolded: You never told me that you got rejected from GWU! -Is a current GWU applicant-

Brb editing my original post to include that quote.
