I should point out that all your "vaccines are not 100% safe" are moot points. Of course they are not 100% safe, medicine is not based on miracle cures, it's based on PROBABILITY AND STATISTICS. You vaccinate people because the side-effects and the people who will still get infected even when vaccinated are heavily outweighted by the ammounts you'd have without vaccination.
Also, studies can never have a zero control group. You can't deny access to proven medicine in order to conduct a study, it's unethical.
My view is: leave science and medicine to the scientist and doctors. They know what they are doing (as a general rule), of course there may be black sheep in the group and people with secondary intents but what can you do? Can you create a vaccine yourself? When thousands of studies prove that it's beneficial to take vaccines it's ignorant to go against it based on personal experience or unfounded fears of low probability events (yes, some people will develop an auto-immune disease from the H1N1 vaccine but that's better than the ammount of people who would have died without the vaccine).
