Some of you guys already have college acceptances in your belt already. Nice work! 
If you do choose to go to Univ. of Michigan-Ann Arbor and do well there, it will be a big boost for you later on. Univ. of Michigan-Ann Arbor is one of the top-tier universities in the United States, as you probably know.
A month ago, I sent in my AFROTC paper application ("Part II"). Recently, I found out I'm eligible for an interview, so I'm waiting for the local Air Force ROTC detachment officer (either from UCLA or USC) to contact me to schedule an interview. Hopefully it all goes well.
Currently I'm taking:
- AP United States Government
- AP Calculus BC
- AP English Lit
- AP Physics B
- AP World History (self-study; still trying to find a school that's willing to administer the exam for me. >_<)
Previous APs:
- AP European History (2009) - 5
- AP US History (2010) - 5
- AP Calculus AB (2010) - 5
- AP English Lang (2010) - 4
- AP Chemistry (2010) - 4
Kurtle, do take the AP exams; its well worth your money, and it will enhance your knowledge. And by taking those AP tests - and getting 4s and 5s on them - will save you a LOT of tuition $ once you hit college. Not to mention, you get a head start on college coursework, and get a feel of the academic rigorousness of college.

Kurtle Wrote:@Corn, submitting the applications is probably the worst feeling ever. You can't change it and you realize that you've sent all hopes of your life continuing to another school. DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE LAST DAY TO SUBMIT. My biggest mistake was waiting until two days before to start my essays, I was positive I would not get in because they were so bad. Get your applications done as early as possible and revise as much as possible.
