RnS was quite possibly the best 3rd job skill to train with, if you know how to set it up. A lot of the bandwagoners probably disdain it, which is unfortunate since using the full potential of a Mech at a boss in 4th job is just about as frustrating. However in 4th job I don't use the skill much except at some bosses. I may end up using it in the future if I find a smaller map to train on.
In chaos it does get a 180 second cd, yet also a 30 second increase in duration. With mastery, it will be about 90 seconds, which isn't horrible. However, the current RnS is overpowered as it is.
One of the easiest ways to use RnS is to start out in a small map. You'll usually want to make a triangle, with the top of the triangle being on the upper platform. Find the three pointers you'll want to use RnS, and put a portal at the top pointer and any other pointer. When that's accomplished, you can always just use one RnS, teleport, RnS again, and simply rush or whatever to the last point. RnS is useful as it acts as a second party member always clearing everything in its path, however the skill requires actually paying attention to the game opposed to half-assing/multitasking.
The biggest mistake someone can make with the skill is to not kill while setting it up, and possibly not using the portals to your advantage.
