@Rob: Yes, they'd make a successor regardless of the PSP sales because it needs to be done to stay relevant. If at first you don't succeed...
I know, but if you look at hardware and soft sales worldwide you have:
> Nintendo DS/DSi/DSiXL
> Sony PSP
> Nintendo Wii
> PS3
> XBOX 360
The PSP didn't do bad at all, seeing that Nintendo was the only competitor in the pocket console market since the death of the Lynx in the early 90s.

Graphics or not, the DS has the best handheld library of games ever.
I'm not arguing about the game library, I know the DS's one is HUGE, but I question the quality of that vastness (I do recognize the number of good games on the DS), I was questioning the graphics of both the DS and 3DS. The graphics look like a neo N64 and it's an unquestionable truth. Nowadays you'd expect more than that. The 3D looks sick, but I'm not really into 3D actually.
I smell a great competition.
By the way, there are 3G models and non-3G models.
Sarah Wrote:This is true if you consider only the games meant to be played on it; Rob hacked his PSP and plays games from various generations of consoles, giving it a better library. Unfortunately, you can't claim a hacked system as better because it's not a feature it's an exploit. The actual PSP library is weak as hell.
Apart from that, I enjoyed quite a bunch of games from the PSP library itself, it counts that I have a huge taste in games. It also has to do with hacking it though, because I've never had problems getting any game I wanted to try and discover if it was a good game or not.
