You shouldn't be playing Morg to use her shield. If you want a spectacular shield, go for Sion.
My friend asked me how one plays Sion. I gave him THE ALMIGHTY SION FLOWCHART
Do you want to do more damage? Get more AP.
Do you want to take less damage? Get more AP.
Are you doing well? Get more AP.
Are you doing poorly? Get more AP.
Use Death's Caress for last hitting creep waves, and always have Enrage on.
I've never actually played Sion, so I have no idea how valid this is.
