Why does it surprise me that people argue either side of this without an ounce of fact on what's going on and what limiting factors exist, or that people are still naive enough to believe anything a politician says while trying to get elected and then are surprised when they're not invested with a magic wand that grants wishes as part of being put into office.
No politician can honestly tell you what they're going to do. All they can tell you is what they're going to attempt.
