I hope to God you know they lean heavily on the right, and are very unfriendly to Democrats most of the time.I've seen bash fests, but I've seen come major mouthpieces of fox go easy and even defend Obama. I've also seen MSNBC go on their bash fests. Neither network is pretty.
I'm fine with criticism. There's nothing wrong with that. But when its specifically targeting a political party for their actions/views and people associated with that political party on certain issues, then I have a problem with whoever is doing it. Especially when they have done it 32786927362 times, 24/7, and 365 days per year.
To give you an idea how Fox News has become synonymous with "conservatism" to my own classmates: Just today in my AP Gov class, my teacher was saying that it would be interesting what Republicans' response to the State of the Union address would shape out. Then one of my classmates blurted out "FOX NEWS!". Everyone laughed. Hard.
As a recent bash fest I saw from ED (who loves to advertise his erectile disfunction) was when he decided to bash the hell out of an injured football player for not playing on the field.
And the republican party and the democratic party are the same. Them fighting with eachother over small issues is no more than a show.
Edit: And when is the media going to cover real issues like the war in Iraq or Afganistan? Did anyone notice that the war in Afganistan was the longest war in US history? In fact, did Obama mention any of those issues in his State of the Union? Did he mention that he is leaving Guantanimo open and expanding upon the Bush administration's policies there?
I'll watch his SotU later, but did he mention any real issues like the ones I listed?
