Ask a Warrior Thread.

This might not be a question than can be answered, but here we go:

I'm making a Pally, and will therefore use 1-H Swords starting with the Red Katana at 70. My question is, assuming the Katana is decently scrolled, at what level would you recommend changing weapons? The only reason I ask is because the Katana, as I'm sure you guys know, is very useful for its speed. Does anyone have any feedback as to when they changed their weapon? Or is the answer just "whenever you want"?

Well, to be honest the speed factor in wepons only pops up during boss battles. If a slower wepon allows you to kill a monster/mob in less hits than that should be taken over the faster speed wepon.
*ps this is just my 2cents, other people are entitled to their own opinions*
