More towards the op: there is nothing at all wrong with being introverted. Introverts aren't failed extroverts. No one is completely one or the other either. There has got to be some balance. You don't need to be as extroverted as so-and-so or have as many friends as X. You need to find the balance for yourself where you are comfortable and happy.
