Branching out socially

I really just want some input that's different than Blaine's cold cut opinions. Personally, i'm really trying to change. I've been an introvert for a lot of my life, and i'm trying to start anew. Finding new friends, and finding some girls to be.. closer friends with. But being an introvert has scarred my social abilities quite a bit; i'm not the most avid of people to converse with, but that's not really the problem. Merely finding people that are worth hanging out with is my issue. There's a profound amount of trash in my area; which hinders things quiet a bit. And I simply just don't know what to do to find others like me. What also I lack is in the relationship world. Despite being young.. I just can't do all that short term pomegranate. I want someone who I can trust and that can be there for me. And finding a girl who holds that same opinion in this day and age is so damn hard it isn't funny. On top of all that other stuff, just finding a girl i'd want to go out with.. it makes a giant roadblock. It's like, I don't want to go out with someone because I don't want it to end horribly.

A mixture of asking for help and venting.. I guess that's what this is.
