You know Lightning will have to complete the Focus, so the trailer really hasn't told you anything you didn't already know.
Also Sarah, yes, there have been other games that COMPLETELY spoil the ending for you. Hello there, Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep. And in the same way, the Ending did not say anything about the original story. Never heard anyone complain about it.

So, now that we've finished peaching about the trailer, can we focus on the awesome? Lightning's new weapon & outfit, I approve.
I didn't see any spoiling in Birth By Sleep. And yes, this is a big spoiler. Not because of Lightning but because of Serah and Dajh, as I've already mentioned. Everyone knows Lightning would survive. Square doesn't have the balls to kill a main character. They couldn't even let Tidus die properly.
Also why is it that whenever anyone says anything negative about FFXIII you pop up out of nowhere to protect it like it's your first born son? Did you have a hand in its creation or something? It was a pretty mediocre game, I don't understand why you're so insistent on defending it.
