Well said Chilly. You hit the nail on the head with that post. I dont play mage characters, mostly because they dont fit my personality. I do however feel that it is unfair for a company to do something like this. As the old saying goes, "never bite the hand that feeds". That is exactly what nexon has done and cotinues to do daily to its customer base. Without the end user, nexon would not be able to function. No other game design company purposely goes out of thier way to offend its end user. Take WoW for example. They go out of thier way to make sure that the end user is happy and take care of issues promptly. Even smaller companies like NDoors take the end user seriously. Like I stated in an earlier post, it is only a matter of time before nexon does something similar to your class, if you dont play a mage, and then you will be just as outraged by it. You would then also be wanting some sort of compensation/resolution.
