I can almost see this exact same thing happening when the potential system change comes.
People are now happy that their weapons have 4/8/12% bonuses on their VIP weapons/Elemental weapons. Nexon decides to change it, and BAM! More unhappy high level players in the community.
Only difference is that most people will see that coming. This one, however, came totally unexpected.
I'm sorta indifferent about this. Happy that it's gone, but it can't be "ELEMENTAL" weapons, without some sort of boost. Something minuscule like 5% and 1% all other elementals wouldn't be that bad, IMO.
